ABOUT THE LOFT
A friendship and partnership has turned into this amazing business.
The Loft was born in the middle of the Pandemic. With us both having young kids, juggling homeschooling and keeping up with requests of our family, friends and clientele, we started doing hair in our kitchens and making house calls. From there the idea was created that we could build and design a fresh studio in some extra space in Morgan’s home, creating ‘The Loft’.
It was important to both of us that we created something that was environmentally friendly and where clients would feel safe and nurtured during these unprecedented times. We had the idea that being a Davines Concept Salon would be the perfect fit for us!
Our friendship and partnership has grown into this amazing business which we are so proud of. Blessed to be in this great community of Tsawwassen.
''MY HAIR IS THE ENVY OF MY CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. THE LOFT IS A BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, SAFE SALON, WHERE I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE A MEMBER OF THE FAMILY."

MEET MORGAN
I am a hair colour specialist and have 20 years experience in the industry. I began at Blanche Macdonald Centre where I obtained a certificate in professional make up artistry, followed by a 2 year apprenticeship under the Director of Colour at Suki’s International in Vancouver. After traveling and working overseas in Australia and New Zealand, I came home to further my career as an Academy Instructor at Suki’s, teaching beginner and advanced colour theory.
I specialize in all colour services, but mostly enjoy creating natural lived-in colours, working with balayage and freehand techniques. My favourite part of my job is having the privilege to build relationships with my clients. Some that have lasted 20 years. I truly love helping to make people feel their best and most beautiful.
MEET ALEX
I always knew I wanted to be a hairdresser and started hairdressing when I was 16, following in my mom’s footsteps. Once I finished my apprenticeship, I owned a small salon with my sister! I extended my training by going to the L’Oreal Professional Academy and doing a colour specialist course. After selling my salon, I went to work in an Aveda Concept Salon in London. I enjoy working with products that are less harmful and more natural. I’ve always loved my job and being able to be creative and meet new people, while making great friendships. There is something really rewarding from making people feel good about themselves. The industry is forever changing and I love learning new techniques and styles.
